Inland Valley Foster Parent Association (IVFPA) is a non profit organization that provides services to children and their caregivers in the Inland Empire Foster Care system. These children are often pulled off the street with nothing more than the clothes on their back. Consequently, they often need new clothes, shoes, grooming supplies and toys. Although the county can sometimes reimburse with some funds, they rely greatly on our Association and those of you who can help. These children normally need a lot of support emotionally, physically and financially.
The IVFPA provides Foster Parents with the hours of special training and one on one personal support that they need to help these children. We hold many events each year for the children and their Foster families including trips to local amusement parks, like Knott's Berry Farm at no cost to them, special parties, awards, and giveaways. We are able to do these things because of people like you who help us to support these children. We are completely made up of volunteers that donate their time and talents to the cause. Nobody pulls a paycheck here, 100% of all donations go to the children.
